🏠 LIHEAP - Home Energy Assistance
Helps low-income renters and homeowners pay heating costs including electric heat. Administered by MaineHousing and your local Community Action Agency.
Apply via MaineHousing💡 LIAP - Low-Income Assistance Program
Provides a monthly credit directly on your electric bill. If you've already applied for LIHEAP through your Community Action Agency, you're likely already enrolled.

🚨 ECIP - Energy Crisis Intervention
Facing an immediate shutoff? ECIP provides up to $800 in emergency fuel assistance between November 1 – April 30. Contact your Community Action Agency immediately.
🏡 Efficiency Maine - Weatherization Rebates
Income-eligible households can receive up to $8,000 in rebates for insulation, air sealing, heat pumps, and more - reducing your bills long-term.
